What are the key fashion trends for Winter 2017 and how can you integrate them into your existing wardrobe? We're highlighting the top trends for this season, from traditional checks to sparkly lurex pieces and how to wear them!
Checks are back in a big way! From large, overstated pieces (see our bouclé coat) to subtler Prince of Wales and dogtooth checks. They are versatile and easy to wear, making any outfit timeless.
Faux fur can be seen on the catwalks this season from full-length coats to accessories; we prefer a more understated look, worn as a detachable collar on this tweed coat for a touch of glamour.
Corduroy is set to take centre stage over the coming seasons (we have that straight from Jane, our Managing Director) and so it's come as no surprise that our new needlecord dress is already flying off the shelves!
Winter equals knitwear and especially this year when more traditional jumpers and cardigans are on-trend. Time to dig out your old favourites and splurge on that new you one you've been eyeing up, like our Fairisle cardigan, which has been expertly knitted in Scotland.
Silk scarves are everywhere this season and we couldn't be happier! Our local mill, Beckford Silk, will certainly be kept busy over the coming months printing all of our beautiful designs onto their luxurious fabric.
Just because it's winter doesn't mean that flowers aren't on the catwalk; they are big, bold and here to stay! Our exclusive Binda print skirt looks lovely with the soft cashmere-blend jumper.
Wrap up warm with our large selection of wraps and serapes this season. A simple layer that is easy to wear and very stylish and what's more it's on all the catwalks.
Winter doesn't have to be dull - sparkle and shine are a huge part of the catwalks this season. We prefer an understated take on this trend with our lurex top and sparkle tweed skirt (with matching jacket).
Finally double-breasted jackets are here to stay! Our check jacket is made from pure wool woven in a British heritage mill.
